Brandon Bennett, Founder & CEO of Back to the Basics Please, Inc is responsible for the strategic programming, management and financial operations of a dynamic, nonprofit dedicated to advancing quality services that enrich lives and build future supports in rural America at the same level as those generally found in urban centers.  Brandon is the steward of the Back to the Basics Please (BTTBP) commitment to values of community inclusion and self-direction with a strong sustainable environment of community based quality services and supports.  He communicated the vision and program objectives to internal and external program constituents and collaborates with a dynamic board in formulating policies, developing strategic plans, raising funds and achieving outstanding performance.

The exceptional leadership on the Board judiciously allocated and over sought resources in conjunction with staff to make decisions that are in the best interest of the organization and larger community.

Since Brandon founded BTTBP in early 2003, he has personalized the organization, attracted and developed a high-level executive team, expanded programs and services, and developed an established reputation for excellence in service.

BTTBP has spent almost a decade developing and adopting addiction recovery programs with a proven cutting edge and integral philosophy.  In addition BTTBP has been recognized for organizing and producing large nationally recognized sexual health events to Yuma County in an effort to prevent new infections and alleviate associated stigmas still present in our communities.  Brandon has additionally expanded the agency by opening a youth center in Yuma with new vocational day programs, academic tutoring and a career center with increased grant and foundation support.

Brandon is a self-starting entrepreneur with 20 years of business administrative and management experience in both the private and government sectors.  He is committed to using his management background and life-experience to helping others find their way out of blight so they can explore their individual life goals.  Brandon truly believes in community service and local grass-roots organizing as the source of the most effective solutions that come from within through a process in which folks who know each other as neighbors and share the same local concerns commit to working with each other to resolve their mutual challenges.
